The National Museum of Mayan Art Has a New Schedule for Guided Tours

Guatemala City, by Jenny Herrera -AGN-. The National Museum of Mayan Art, Archeology, and Ethnology announces guided tours with a new schedule from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00 hours.

The tours are targeted at groups and education centers interested in the culture and history of Guatemala. 

The Ministry of Culture and Sports promotes different spaces for culture and art and invites people through its social networks: “New schedule! The National Museum of Mayan Art awaits you and your family to enjoy an incredible journey through our historical legacy.”

Professional Tour Guide 

A professional tour guide is available to help visitors learn more about the museum, its history, and its pieces. In addition, visiting groups can take group or individual pictures.

The National Museum of Mayan Art, Archaeology, and Ethnology is in Zone 13 of Guatemala City. The MCD manages it for its protection and conservation, and its doors are open to the public.

The museum keeps pieces of the history of the pre-Hispanic era, a site full of mystery about the Mayan civilization’s customs, artifacts, and traditions.
