Guatemala performance

During Fitur 2024, Guatemala seeks to position the country in the European market as a first-class tourist destination. It aims to showcase the richness of its culture, traditions, nature, archeology, and gastronomy.

The authorities intend to make attractions such as Tak’alik Ab’aj, a World Heritage Site, known internationally and to see a growth in tourist income data thanks to this promotion. They also seek to reinforce the country’s image through gastronomy and traditions such as Holy Week.

These strategies will seek to promote bilateral trade relations in tourism and participate in the creation of alliances and trade agreements to strengthen this sector.

Fitur

Fitur is hosted in IFEMA, Madrid, España, from January 24 to January 28 and has Ecuador as the partner country.

It is an annual convention for international tourism professionals to meet and create strategic alliances. It is targeted at the inbound and outbound markets of Ibero-America.

The countries promote their brands and new products and learn about trends to put them into practice in their region.
