Guatemala City -AGN – The Ministry of Culture and Sports -MCD- invites people to purchase tickets to visit the Tikal National Park through the digital platform created for this purpose.
With this new system, tourists will save time since waiting in line to purchase passes will no longer be necessary.
The purchase is available at boletos.culturaguate.com, where you can find information about the archaeological destination and tour packages. In addition, the site is available in English.
Purchase Details
To start the process, users must enter the platform from any device with internet access. The available hours will be displayed:
Monday to Sunday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The morning tour, 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The evening tour, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
After choosing the visiting hours, you can select the desired activities. These include visiting the park, museum, camping area, and tours.
When the tickets have already been selected, a form will appear that must be completed with personal data. There the payment information is also required.
Once all the steps are completed, the holder will receive the tickets by email. These must be printed to present upon entry to the park.
According to the Ministry of Culture, in this way, the services are modernized for national and foreign tourists.
