Cooperation
Team Europe will invest up to €300 billion in high-quality, sustainable projects between 2021 and 2027, considering the needs of partner countries and ensuring lasting benefits for local communities.
This initiative will help EU partners develop their economies and societies and create opportunities for the private sector in EU member states to invest and remain competitive.
This strategy aligns with the commitment made by G7 leaders in June 2021 to launch a transparent, value-based, high-level infrastructure partnership to meet global infrastructure development needs.
The Global Gateway is also fully compliant with the United Nations 2030 Agenda, its Sustainable Development Goals, and the Paris Agreement.
