Program for Entrepreneurs

The Ministry of Economy -Mineco- leads this initiative with the support of the Government of Guatemala. It started as a strategy to reactivate the country’s economy through the Vice Ministry of Development for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises, which coordinates the different programs.

The project has benefited hundreds of families from all departments by supporting entrepreneurs in their training phase.

According to authorities, this is achieved with the support of the business sector, which assists the entrepreneurial process from the start to the maturity. The assistance encompasses the phases from formulating the business idea to completing the learning process.

Furthermore, new entrepreneurs receive support to solidify their brand and improve the quality of their products or services.

Every week, authorities share the schedule of activities in different departments, aiming to bring opportunities to new entrepreneurs.
