Guatemala City, by Lincy Rodríguez -AGN- The Minister of the Interior, Byron René Bor, the Vice Minister of Security, Carlos Franco, and the General Director of the National Civil Police -PNC-, led a formal ceremony marking a significant step in strengthening citizen security. The event took place at the General Sub-Directorate of Support and Logistics in Guatemala City.
During the ceremony, Minister Bor Illescas expressed his department’s commitment to promoting institutional strengthening in favor of community security. He emphasized the importance of this joint effort in achieving peaceful coexistence in the country.
Delivery of Motorcycles and Trucks
With these 500 new motorcycles, President Alejandro Giammattei’s administration has delivered 2,110 this year. These results mark a milestone in the government’s strategy to prevent and control situations affecting citizen security. In addition, the security forces have received 24 trucks, which will improve their capacity for prompt response and mobility.

Advances in Police Dignification
Authorities from the Ministry of the Interior -Mingob- and the PNC inaugurated the institution’s shooting range, further consolidating the Police Transformation Strategy, focused on the Police Dignification Axis.
