This workshop aims to provide relevant information on adaptation, mitigation, and strengthening skills in the linked sectors. Participants share experiences and knowledge acquired during COP 28, focusing on successful practices implemented to counteract the effects of climate change on agriculture and livestock.

A highlight of the workshop will be the presentation of Guatemala’s commitments made at COP28. These commitments go beyond declarations and translate into tangible actions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting biodiversity, and strengthening the resilience of agricultural communities in the face of extreme weather events.

Moreover, it promotes an open dialogue among participants, allowing them to discuss current challenges and propose innovative solutions. Therefore, the exchange of ideas between government, civil society, and international cooperation will strengthen the implementation of effective and sustainable measures.
